Alcobaça and its region are renowned for the quality of the agricultural products produced there, a fact that historically originates from the work of Cistercian Monks from the thirteenth to the eighteenth centuries.

This project thus originated from a desire to promote and publicise the diversity of local agricultural tourism based on the quality and excellence of its products.
